CONTACT POLICY

I have three additional workbooks and two novels currently in the works, so I will be extremely busy for quite some time. In that regard, I ask that you try to keep email contact to a minimum, or at least a dull roar. While it is nice to hear from my readers, please bear in mind that there is no way that I can respond to every email I receive, so I ask that you contact me only for the reasons listed below, and then only by email. Please do not write via postal mail, unless I have emailed you back stating this is acceptable (for brochures, or something of that nature). I appreciate your visiting my site, and hope you understand my position.

Please do not email me with questions regarding topics in my workbooks. Those questions are answered fully in the books themselves. Questions regarding ammunition and/or performance, or about upper receivers can be answered in other books/forums. This may sound harsh, but my time is better served by bringing you more publications than consulting on information readily available elsewhere.

If you would like to email me with pro-freedom feedback on my books, I would love to hear from you, but due to my workload, please do not feel slighted if I do not have the time to respond, although I will do my best. If you are an anti, please do not waste my time with your nonsense. We will do everything to ensure quick delivery of your items, but sometimes things do happen. Please allow 6-8 weeks for you order to be shipped, in case we are backordered from the printer. Please do not email me asking about your order unless at least ten weeks have passed! In the case of personal checks they must clear before items are shipped.

When Patriot Act is released, I fully expect to be deluged with emails about certain events in the book, feedback, etc. Since I will be busy on the aforementioned projects, I will not be able to respond to these, so in that aspect, I request that you keep all email to a minimum; except for questions regarding bulk orders, distribution, and things along those lines. This is more of a preventive measure than anything else for now.

I do not mean to sound egotistical by instilling this policy, but please understand that my livelihood is made through the use of this computer, and if that time is taken up by answering emails, I will have no time left with which to write. I hope that you understand the reasons for my contact policy and respect it. I will leave the contact address up only as long as it is not abused or used frivolously.

Legitimate reasons for contacting D.A. Hänks

• Questions regarding bulk orders or distribution
• More than an eight-week lapse in expected shipment (this means at least ten weeks from the time you sent your payment).
• Promotional events that benefit me as well as you. This can be 2nd Amendment events, Patriot events, Heritage events, interviews, etc.
• Feedback about any of my works that reflects a positive view of the subjects I cover, or to make me aware of a possible discrepancy. Typos I am most likely already aware of, and will be corrected in future printings.

Do not contact me to bash gun rights or the right to express my opinion on heritage, God, government intrusion, etc., OR to ask/speak of any illegalities. Any mails of a threatening nature will be turned over to the appropriate authorities.
